Policies:

For normal bookings, we require a deposit equal to one night's stay to reserve a room. (*Additional deposit may be required for holidays and special events. Please call and ask.)

For Non-Refundable bookings, the entire reservation amount will be charged at the time of booking.

Since The Grand is a small property, cancellations affect our income greatly. Therefore, we must receive your cancellation prior to 14 days of your scheduled arrival date and your deposit will be refunded, less a $50 handling fee for each reserved room. If you cancel for any reason from the 14th to the 2nd day of your scheduled arrival date, your deposit is forfeited for every reserved room. Reservations canceled within 48 hours of the start of the reservation will be charged for the entire amount of the reservation. Once you arrive, there are no refunds for shortened stays. Shortened reservations will be treated in the same manner as a cancellation, with applicable fees. *Fees may be different for special events and holidays.

If your reservation is made within 14 days of your arrival, your deposit is non-refundable, and no refund will be issued for cancellation. Reservations canceled within 48 hours of the start of the reservation will be charged for the entire amount of the reservation. Once you arrive, there are no refunds for shortened stays.

* Christmas, New Year's, Fantasy Fest, and some special event reservations require 50 percent of the total amount of your reservation to be charged on the day of booking. The remaining balance of your reservation will be charged 30 days prior to your arrival date. If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of USD $150 will be charged. If cancelled or modified later, or in case of a no-show, 100% of the total price of the reservation will be charged.

We will not issue refunds for transportation or weather-related issues, including any hurricanes which may occur from June through November. We recommend travel insurance to cover these costs. Travel Guard Insurance is available at a nominal cost through our website. Now that there is widespread awareness of COVID-19, we believe travelers understand the risks of booking non-refundable or partially refundable travel. Therefore, except where required by law, for bookings made on or after March 20 we will apply appropriate policies for any traveler-initiated cancellation or no-show.

Direct bookings must be canceled in writing. We do not accept voicemail or phone cancelations.

WE ACCEPT CHILDREN 13 AND OLDER ONLY. THE GRAND IS A SMALL, QUIET PROPERTY, AND THEREFORE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR SPRING BREAKERS.

NO PETS ALLOWED.

ALL OF OUR ROOMS ARE NON SMOKING. Smoking is permitted only outside in the designated area. Evidence of smoking in the rooms will result in a charge of $250.00 to fumigate the room and the occupants will be asked to leave without refund of any reservation charges. If evident after checking out and fumigation is necessary, charges will be applied.

We reserve the right to assign your reservation to an alternate room, but this generally results in an upgrade.
